Streaks without the guilt: what Not yet is for
A streak feels great at day 30 and awful the day it breaks. For a lot of people that one broken day is where the habit ends. It does not have to work that way.
Why a broken streak makes you quit
When the number resets to zero, all the work behind it feels gone. It is easier to stop than to start over at one. That is the guilt trap.
Not yet instead of no
Did I has two answers: Did and Not yet. Not yet means today is still open. Nothing turns red and no one scolds you.
Later the same day still counts
Answered Not yet this morning and did it tonight? Tap Did. It is still an answer for today.
Hide the number if it stresses you
Gentle mode hides streak numbers. Your answers and your calendar are still there, without a counter watching you.
Look at the calendar, not just the count
A calendar full of Did days shows the real story: most days you showed up. One gap does not erase that.
Start again at one
Day one after a break is still a day one. The habit is the showing up, not the number.
